Default Ecu question

I have a 97 exl coupe with a jdm h22 swap and a 5 spd swap. I think my ecu crapped out on me I have an auto ecu, and want to test if that is really my problem, I know theres a wire or something you have to jump, which one is it and whats the pin # everything is obd 1

The SCS pin on an OBD1 ecu is D4 jump that to the ECU ground at A24 and that will give you pulse voltage at pin A13 MIL AKA CEL (your CEL will flash if it is connected and there is DTC present)
