b4 u flame im not a noob just want input

ok so i gott another hatch for a dd.. (shell) im have the choice fo 2 motors to put in a b16 with gsr tranny.. with bolt ons or a gsr block and tranny with a b16 head... im stuck trying ot make up my mind so tell me whatcha think..

b16 with the gsr tranny

get a nice turbo setup

and tune it on 15 pounds ftw

all motor = all gay

yeah i hate all motor.. (sry guys)..

i gotta lil greddy kit sitting around i mite throw that on there mayeb not 15 lbs probly 8 bc this is a dd.. thanks..

15 can be daily driver, and safely run on stock sleeves, with a good tune

yeah the tune is def a huge part of it.. maybe we do like 12lbs im just glad i live really close to a tuner..

i just love boost lol...

stock maps are good for 10psi, so get aftermarket if going higher. Stock injector are good for around 190-210whp i believe, you dont want to stress there duty cycle too much.

yeah thats fine im ok with buying new injectors but im not trying to get too deep into my pocket.. i know alot of people inthis area so i get good deals. i jsut dont wanna have to get new fuel pump and ****. but ill probly end up doing it any ways...

but back to the motor... so b16 with gsr tranny.. thats what im thiking..

yeah they are both the same motor xcept one has gsr block adn the other has b16.. 2 things one. never seen a poor man type r run and the b16 wit gsr tranny is 600 bucks cheaper.. so i think thats whats going to influence me the most..

well my mind has been made up i talked to the guy with the poor type r. and it needs new head gasket . intake mani. ecu and tune. axels.. and water pump.. so im gettin the b16 woo hoo..

ha yeah ok..

and u knwo i will i get paid on tuesday so i go get it wed then in on the weekend.. ill def get some pics up.. i jsut hope it goes smooth.. thanks every 1.

dont you mean stock map sensors? not maps
stock maps arent good for any boost, you need a new basemap

and stock map sensors are good for 11psi

and 200 horsepower on stock injectors? i dont think so, thats not safe at all

im running 450s on my dd sohc turbo, thats near 190 on 10 psi


and expletive a poor mans type r if your gonna turbo it
the compressions too high
b16 with gsr tranny FTMFW
