recently i snapped my stock antenna's silver tube hting so i decided to find a new one. I went to a junkyard and got one off another honda of the same year. i removed the old one and got the new one into the hole and noticed that where the wire goes is in the framework, now i can't get the other end out to attach to the radio.

has anyone ever replaced the antenna before and could give some guidance?

I took they old antena wire and cut it off at the base. I taped it to the new antena wire and slipped it through till it hit the bottom. I reached in and grabbed it and pulled the new wire through.Hope this helps...

 

could you take a picture undearneath the dash as to where the wire comes out so i have some idea as to where to look?

 

If you look all the way in the back were yur foot would rest if you have a 5 speed there is
a small opening about the size of a nickle. I dont know if I can get a picture of it but I will see what I can do.

or stick a coat hanger down there and tie the antenna wire to the coat hanger and feed it through
