Default crome

I'm about to get my car tuned. i'm running a p30 with crome my questions is how much can you controll the injectors i plan on getting eaither precision 880cc or 1000cc injectors i'm plan on making about 400whp 15-18 psi and i'm sure the 880s will work but i was gonna get the 1000 to be safe incase i ever wanted to make more power in the future ( considering in the summer i wanted to switch turbo's) i'de have the extra fuel there. I figured if i ran the 1000 but only needed the 880 that my tuner would be able to tune the injecotrs down will i be able to do this with crome or dose crome not allow you to tune down injectors ?

Your tuner should be able to handle 880cc or 1000cc injectors without a problem.
For the amount of power and size injector you are looking to use, you may want to consider using a better ems such as Hondata, Neptune etc.

If you only want to make 400, you shouldnt need anything bigger than 680cc Injectors with room to spare. Crome will have no problems controlling your Fuel Injectors...

Precision makes a Nice 650cc HIGH Impedance injector along with a 680cc LOW Impedance injector that would work nicely for you.

Most of my customers always end up wanting more power down the road.

The way I look at it is.. why would you buy an injector that costs the same as a slightly larger one that will perform the same and give you room to make more power. I.E. 680 vs 880

Because I would rather run a High Impedance injector properly sized for my setup then a larger, low impedance injector.

I can get better response time, better gas mileage and better atomization of the fuel out of a properly sized injector.

With that line of thinking...everyone should just buy a 1000cc injector "in case" is what you are saying?

I don't know about you, but I have tuned cars with 1000cc injectors that get good gas mileage when driven normal (26-28 mpg).

I think everyone should buy a custom intake manifold with quad injectors, running some 550cc injectors as primaries and some 1000cc injectors as secondaries... Just in case they want to make more power.. j/k

I have seen a very minimal difference in the performance of a 680cc injector versus a 880cc injector. (Both being low impedance). If a customer called me with a setup that is going to be making 400-450whp I would tell them to consider the 680cc-1000cc injector depending on setup & what the car is used for & their goals etc.
