Default oil spraying from valve cover vent tube? ideas why? boost caused?

i have a turbocharged dohc zc. it has been boosted for about 6 months now with no problems but just recently alot of oil and smoke has been coming from the valve cover vent tube. it has never done it before so i have always left it open, and now everytime i boost tons of oil sprays out. i thought it migh be cause my headgasket was leaking a little so i changed the headgasket and still under boost it sprays. any ideas? it has never done it before in the 6 months its been turbocharged. what could be the cause. thanks in advance.

weak piston rings, allowing excess cc gas through.

oil always comes out of there
hook it up to a catch can

oil hasnt came from there the entire time its been boosted, and its an exessive amount enough to shoot over the IM bounce off the firewall onto the underside of my hood and out the front of the hood. Excessive amounts. i have thought about a catch can but again oil never came out.

could i check the possibility of weak rings with a compression test? could a bad pcv valve cause the oil to spray like that possibly?

thanks

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Topdawgg &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">oil always comes out of there

sounds like fried rings, possible ringland problem, but my cash is on rings/cylinder walls.

If you get a sudden excess of pressure from the block, it means it's escaping the cylinders, and is trying to go out of the block.
