well i was just browsing through the pages of the new issue of honda tuning and came across this.

it appears to be some type of subframe brace on a crx. as you all know there are no companies that make them for our chassis although we all want them.

 

I don't see a subframe brace in that pic.

Ya, it looks to be over spray that is almost highlighting the rear sub-frame. Look at the stock tow hook, it's the same color.

it looks like the asr sway bar kit

 

if it was asr it would it be sliver/black. asr now does make a kit for the ef's now.

 

That is a H5 car and there is no subframe brace on that car.

 

YES! asr makes a 32mm hallow bar for the 88-91 civic/crx. From the crappy pic it look'd to like the asr kit but i could be wrong. Might be a suspension technique kit aswell.

They do make a kit, but the rear swaybar does not mount to the subframe on the ED/EF chassis (they use L brackets that mount to the rear towhook location), so a rear subframe brace wouldn't make any sense on that car.

It looks like that is just the factory subframe that is showing up in the pic.

 

just looks like a sway bar to me.

yea after studying it a little better i realize that its just the subframe itself. the color of it threw me off.

i thought asr made a subframe bracket like the 92+ billet alum cut out peace for the ef's?

i guess more important why is the guy towing a boat?
