90 - 93 Axle breaking? Maybe my ticket to free DA?

90 - 93 Axle breaking? Maybe my ticket to free DA?
I' owned a DA a while back in the beginning of the year, maybe about April - June.
And when i owned it the Driver's side axle broke on me, and when i think about it the passenger side axle had been replaced also (maybe because it broke on the previous owner before me).
And i looked online on how to fix it and found many people asking questions on how to repair it (with some damage being more extensive than others).
So i've come to the conclusion that the axles for the DA are a common thing to break maybe?
i'm just asking because i'd like to confirm it. Or it's just something that happens to a few, but not most/many.
My friend just got a LS and the car is in pretty blehhh condition right now. And i don't think the axles or any of the suspension has been changed. The car has about 212XXX on it.
He says i can have it for free when it breaks down on him. Like the day/minute/moment it breaks or gives him any trouble. It's MINE!
Right now, as far as i can tell. the motor is burning oil, radiator fluid is leaking badly (lots of smoke and burning fluid is comming from engine bay) and the suspension is pretty much shot.
Now all i'd have to do is wait for one of these thinsg to go wrong and i can get me a DA
But yeah, this is something ijust wanted to post up and ask.

she was CLEAN

That is a belt made by Old Navy holding it down.
Me and my friends were driving and did a illegal u-turn. ME and my DA, a 350z and a 240sx.
Cop was right there, and he was about to pull us over, so i hoped out and put on my hazards and popped open my hood and was acting like i was doing something. as if i had to do that Uturn because it was an emergency.
Cop drove by slow and was scoping us out blah blah blah, and i was just like *fck fck fck no!* and i said it loud enough so they could hear, and i know they did. and they just drove on.
Closed the hood and we went on our journy. we drove by a place called the S-Curves and my friends were attempting to drift, they didn't know how to. and i was the only one.
being the show off that i am, i was like speeding and "drifting" with the tegg. Came out of a turn and shot out of it doing about 60 or 70.
Then i tried to do a bounce slide then BAM!. Hood slammed open and cracked my windsheild.

I had bought the car like 3 days before that had happened to.. and when that happened all dreams of me modding the hell outa the car went to ****. Then i just daily drove it without a hood for like another month or so then sold it.
i regret selling it now tho

cv axles are a very common thing to break on front wheel drive cars. you could probably get both driver side and passenger side replaced for $200. theyre relitively cheap. i have to replace my passenger side axle pretty soon. DA FTW!!!!

nah you can get em for like 60 - 80 bucks at autozone (Yeah i know, they're axles sucks) and then change em myself. I already have a lifetime warrenty for my driver' side
yeah, lol well what can i say? Seeing 2 of my friends nuubing out at drifting? when i know how to drift? Lmao, i just wished i had my 240 that day instead of my DA.
But anyways, i'm thinking of just telling my friend i'll give him like 300 for the car, it has no rust on it from what i've seen so far.
but the passenger side door won't open.

and you shoulda seen how fast i hopped outa the car when a cloud of smoke came from the engine bay.
