Default high idle

my cousin put in jdm itr pistons at a shop and when he got it all it does is idles at 2..like when he is driving its fine the before a stop he puts it in nutrual then it idles back at 2...so everytime its not goin its idle'n at 2...maybe he has a vacuum leak or sumthing?? what u guys think it is?

wow, same thing happened to me. it always idles at 2k. when i lightly tap on the gas while its at 2k, it drops and then comes back up to 2k.

i still haven't got the problem fixed yet, so i can't tell you what it is. i also changed the iacv. have your cousin tried changing it yet?

check for vaccuum leaks...somewhere there is air passing by the throttle.

CAN YOU HEAR ANY VACCUM LEAKS????? CHECK YOUR GAS CABLE IT MIGHT NEED ADJUSTMENTS!

Check to see if your throttle cable is to tight then check you idler screw. if not that dizzy timing?

check for vaccum leaks with WD40 I dont recomend brake cleaner or throattle body cleaner since is higly flamable, did he use a new intake manifold gasket? also check timing just like the other guys recomended.

timing is fine...he put new headgasket and new intake maifold gasket..maybe the people who put it in did something wrong..cuz he also got a b16a with CTR piston and its fine..idle is normal and everything..
