New Guy Problems with the VAFC on 99 si

Default New Guy Problems with the VAFC on 99 si

i hooked up my vafc and the car was missing really bad and the check engine light was on and flashing any advice???

You either hooked it up incorrectly or set it incorrectly.

Read the instructions. make sure it's set on 4 cylinder mode and has a sensor # of 6

It won't run very well if your primary O2 is missing. The secondary O2 will not cause any issues other than a CEL.

Did you do the initial setup, it says wit a caution beside it, turn key over (dont turn car on) and go through the initial setup. And make sure you have tps (dont kow if it has a map voltage) set correctly voltage wise, there is a choice of declining and rising voltage. (which is when you press the gas, voltage goes up or down, that may be your problem)

also i dont know too much about it i bought it with no directions or anything just the vafc so i dont know how to do the setup stuff
