I post earlier that i bought a DA,, ok so i wanted some cheap vtec in that bitch, thinkin about a b16, do you think the body would bring the performance down just a tad bit because of weight? [keep in mind i did not check the stats on the original b16 vehicle and the DA] should i keep the LS fix and build it? theirs a big oil leak

wow ninja!! 25 posts and learning already, as for smokedup, maybe thats the problem. use the search button at the top right of the screen, its red. as for the b16 swap, its been done a million times, you should fix your oil leak and boost that thing, or ls/vtec. thats just my 2 cents.

 

if you can find a b16 with the right tranny that would be nice. it would be about as fast as a 99-00 si wich isnt too bad, the reliability of a stock b16 vs a boosted ls or ls-v is also one of the reasons i kinda wanna go that route as well. and you have the lovely sound of v-tak to put a smile on your face

 

yehh basiclly i piked it up it has a b16 tranny wit a b18a1, so i dont think a b16 will be too bad
