just aint my day
about an hour ago the worst thing that could've happened, DID. Driving down the highway and 01-1139 started making a weird noise, shaking and rpm's jumping. Then she died. I pulled over to inspect and smelled burnt rubber of some sort. By this time i'm going crazy. See just last weekend I had my TODA valve train and ti retainers put in. I looked around some more and noticed the timing belts was missing a bunch of teeth, my heart dropped. I called acura RSA and the were sending a tow truck. Finally got home and now dont know what to do. What i want to know is how bad did i mess up the motor, any advice please. Will keep posted
what really sucks is that i was on my way to pick up a p28 ecu so that i could get it chipped. Now i might just go back to stock, but i love the toda B's, but i'm not sure what to do

it was a brand new one that was put on. Just went and looked at the motor and from the way the valve cover is cut i can see at least anywhere from 5 to 10 teeth on the timing belt missing.
May belt tension have something to do with it?
This has nothing to do with Toda's but is installer error. Granted Toda's are not the most timing belt friendly cam, but if you run todas, you should know that.
edit: Sorry to hear the bad news though
