I heard that theres no point in filling up the highest octane of gas. I recommend filling up the recommended octane, saves money

yea depending what motor/tune you have. Higher compression = more octane.

Is this on an EP3 or a DC5? I think the RSX Type S is suggested by the dealer to run 93.

Just don't buy an actual car parts from autozone. CRAP! I don't get why people don't realize that stuff is just awful.

Buy accessories or car care products.

yea, i think the dc5, you need high octane, and on the ep3, you need lower.

In the Shell "brochure" it says V-Power is "92-96" Octane.

Base RSX and ALL USDM Ep3's get 87 or better (if you enjoy wasting money)

Type S Needs AT LEAST 91 octane, same with 06+Si's

These are for stock, or near stock vehicles.

If you *carefully* read the Owner's Manual (for the EP3) it recommends fuel that possesses detergent additives (aka V-power) to keep the fuel system and engine cleaner. That's why I use it.

All gas has detergent additives. V-power just has about 3 times the legal minimum.
