so i went and started up my car and let it idle for a while be4 i left the house. it was perfect nothing unusual. then my budy picks me up and i just turn my car off and leave with him. go and try to start it up the next night and nothing. the battery is good it just makes this "rrrr.r.r......sound" and dies off. like the starter engages put dosent hav the power to mov the fly. could it be the starter? can a starter just go out like that?

 

Sounds like Battery If it wants to start it then slowly dies, maybe a ground?

 

its possible your starters junk.. but verify your battery isnt dead just to make sure.. just try a jump

 

batterys fine..all the electronics work and my Walbro starts buzzing good and i tried jumping it and it didnt do anything differnet. im thinking the starter is just craped out on me and dosnt hav any mucsle to start it.

 

Works on muscle cars lol try and tap on it with something hard then try and start it

 

If it has high miles, could be the armature's (just get a new one if it is), try tapping on the started with a hammer while someones trying to crank it like cln92eg stated. Probably wither the or a bad/loose ground (that was the problem on a buddies teg).
