my dad checked the compression and said it was fine.i mean it runs and then its really choppy almost like a misfire or running on like 3 cylenders.put there all fireing i checked for spark on all the plugs and checked all the injectors and there all working.but ill have it idleing for a minute or to and it will shut off and when i have it to the floor it idles at like 800 rpms.but if i move the throttle on the t/b it wont go more then 1/2 way or it will bog out like its getting to much or to little fuel

i just put a head gasket on it.and then this started happening.i didnt disconnect anything i had the cherry picker there and just lifted the head cleaned the gasket off it and the block cleaned the chambers and put it back together.i can stick a screw driver in the chamber and its dry so i know i didnt blow it again or have a cracked or warped head

wait you just put a headgasket? are you sure that the timing is right? you can try and check the tps by getting a volt meter and checking it at closed throttle and WOT.
