Default Are You Knife Edged????

I was wondering if anyone is running a knife edged crank in there ALL MOTOR set as a daily driver???
And if you could please post a pic/some pics of your crank and any other input both postive and negative about using this style crank...

con's are that sometime they chunk onder heavy loads and about the only pro is the little loss of weight

personally i'm not a fan of it i would rather just eliminate the oil squirters or just sand the roughnest off the crank with a sander to make it smooth. all your really looking for is to reduce the windage in the crankcase and there are better ways of doing that than knife edging the crank.

I've built 4 motors with knife edged cranks and daily driven the one in my motor. I'll try and dig up a picture. Pro's are lighter rotating assembly and a quicker revving motor. It takes a little more feathering to get away from a light though. I also run an 8lb flywheel too.
