i'm building a boosted b16 for my 96 ek coup. i have had sever boosted d's in the pass an want to move to some thing new. the thing i keep debating on is my trans options. im not sure if i want to run the b16a or go the other way an run an LS trans. i plan on the low 400hp rang and want whats going to be the best all around tranny for the street,i dont care much about the strip. so any one with input let me hear it. thanks

 

go with the GSR its geard in between the b16 and the LS. it will get you down the track in 4th gear with some 24.5's

 

ok that sounds cool, do u happen to know what rpm it hold when cruzin down the highway?

 

its like 6k on the highway but get a LS 5th gear put in the gsr and would be good to go

 

Which ever is cheaper. LS has the same gearing as SI/EX civics. So can't be too bad.
