Default DIY on installation and removal of Valve Cover

I am having my valve cover powder coated some time over the next week or two and I haven't taken it off of this car before.

I have a general idea of how to do it, and replaced my VC on my GSR but I was wondering if anyone knew of a DIY or could offer some helpful tips/advice?

There is a DIY on 8thcivic but its kind of brief and the pictures have been deleted from the post.

it looks like I should remove the cowl (the black plastic piece with the windshield washer sprayers) and then remove a heat shield which is below that to get easier access to the VC.

3 tabs that hold the cowl on then Pop the plastic cowl off, be carefull on it. there are 5 bolts that hold the metal under the cowl. once those are taken off, pull off that peice and then undo the bolts to the valve cover
