My 94 Hb *restoration* -56k no way-
Hey, im new to A/C forums and HT so i thought i would share my baby with all of you
It was born in 94 as a stock D15B2, allways daily drivin here in Denmark
about 2 years ago i picked it up, it was in poor condition under its bluw skin
so i wanted to restore it back to its former glory and started shopping parts about a year ago, and now im allmost at the fisnish line, so here goes with the pics, sry for the lack of "During" pictures
B4 it all began it looked pretty much like this:

And then the tear down began, and alot of body work needed attention as well as the whole rust issue, which were very bad

Heres the rear roof line redone, its was close to not being a safeable project, a year or 2 more and it would have been a dead car.

Door, that i thought could b saved, later discovered that it wasnt and bought a brand new one from honda, allso shaved antenna, and fixed 2 small holes in the A pillar

Bodywork done, all rust gone, now to pull the engine, allready fitted winter shoes on my Civic AH option rims

Damn thing took us longer to assemble then to actually pull the engine, which was switched to a D15B for a little more fun

Wuhuu engine out, now its easy, or so i thought, but hey it was my 1st car
Not sure where all my work pictures have gone, but heres some from the prep for paint, or actually i was allready done with that

And the car was ready for the booth, to get the color down

Engine bay painted, and ready, now we just need the car sprayed, yah i know some stuff like the front strut is still installed, but thats and easy fix later
The final color was down, and 1st pics are straight after it rolled out, and the a couple in the real world 1st time outside after paint

Thats pretty much how it sits as of now, but ill share a couple of shots of diffrent stuff ive bought for the car just waiting to install

Yah i know its Rotas, but thats what i could afford this time, thinking of upgrading to spoons later on thou, time will tell.
Car was sprayed: 1. Honda Allmond cream - 2. Lexus Dark Grey-Metallic
Well lemme know what you think, good and bad
and just ask if i dont make sense, english isnt my 1st laungage or 2nd for that matter

Why would you spray the engine bay with the strut bar still attached but you did all of the work of taking out the windows?
Maybe there is something im not seeing.
Love the white with the black roof, looking fresh

Your absolutely right, and the towers are allready repainted after removing the strut bar, so it was no biggie, but made the 1st step easier, as i had something to tie things too....
