After purchasing my F150, it became clear to me that there are very few companies that feel the need to make a nice set of headers for the truck. I have a 2006 F150 XLT with the 5.4L Triton V8 underhood, and while it is not a bad truck in stock mechanical form, I desire for quite a bit more. I plan to break the build of the truck down into 3 phases (beyond its current state), and must find a nice set of headers for the 1st phase to be completed. Are any of you aware of custom header fabricators that can make this a reality?

The truck is currently stock mechanically and raised 6" rolling on 35" tall tires.

Phase 1
Intake, headers, exhaust, ECU/PCM reflash

Phase 2
Cams, Electirc fans, pulleys, throttle body, ECU/PCM reflash

Phase 3
Supercharger, built transmission, ECU?PCM reflash

I know it isn't a honda, but this site has so much more knowledge than the other sites I have been on.

 

If you watch trucks on spike tv they did a build simiar to yours using roush racing parts and even roush racing though the stock manifolds were good enough for a supercharged truck. I'm sure there is a custom race car shop in your area that could build them for you though. good luck and keep us posted becuase this sounds like it will be a kick *** truck.
