I got a line on a K20a3 with tranni, harness, everything to do a swap except the mounts for 1500$....is that a good deal motor has 20, 000 miles on it and looks spotless.
I am wanting to swap it into my 99 civic eventually when the D16 starts to go.
also go the line on this supsension setup but I couldnt identify the shocks/struts

Heck ya thats a good deal on any K20 But do u want to spend all that extra money swapping it in

 

Ya I just read the k20 thread further down and it looks brutal.....maybe Ill go with a turbo rebuild...but still i would love to have that thing sittin around but I don't know what I would to with it I am in Kansas if someone wants to come get it still need some opinions on the suspension the guy wants 4hun for it but I there are a lot of good suspension setups for about the same he said he paid 8hun brand new but I don't understand what makes it so special couldnt find any info on it anywhere

 

The Suspension setup looks good but I hear there Bouncy my friend has a set on his del sol. Is the K20 Legit

 

Plus if u read about it the K20A3 Isnt the greatest motor made i mean it really doesnt have Vtec the Intake cam is the only one with the Third Lobe, the Exhaust side is normal If u find a A2 thats the way to go lol comes with a 6 speed Tranny

 

thanks for the info ya the motor is legit the guy still has the car just went with a different setup as far as suspension goes right now Im runnin tokico coilovers (I m just guessing since they look like they match the shocks) and tokico hp shocks/struts and it rides hard
everytime I hit a bump going 40+ it hits hard and I hate it I was thinking the extra coil would be the best solution since the adjustables have like three inches less than normal coils. I don't understand why they make em so short there is still a ton of space between the perch nut and the coil seats on the shocks and the car is as low as it will go without serious rubbing or bottoming out I have a lot of room to lower it even more but then it would be like two inches from the ground. They could have used that extra space for a little more spring without sacrificing handling

 

Before you buy that motor, go to http://www.k20a.org and read. That's the most informative K-Series website I've seen.
