Default built and boosted... opinions please

have the head built:
ls head
Crower Custom Grind Cams (225 Degree Dur/ 427 Degree Lift)
Ferrerra Dual Valve Springs
Ferrerra Titanium Retainers
Titanium Over-Sized Valves 1mm Over
Port n Polish

having the b18b1 block sleeved and built by golden eagle. i have 2 things to think over... turbo size and compresson of the pistons. hp goal is 500-600 whp

turbo size? thought about sc61 for quicker spool but will it make 500-600?

and compression... 9:0:1 or 10:0:1 or what? hit me up guys

i'd go with something like a 9:0-9.5:1 and a Borg Warner S258. That turbo has made 550whp and 450wtq (at 32psi) but its done for after that. If you must go bigger, look into the Borg Warner S366. I'm glad that Borg Warner parts have finally gotten the seal of approval around here lately. They have a ton of great turbos that compete with the GT-R series without having to be ballbearing...meaning they can be rebuilt and dont need coolant lines. The S258 will be my next turbo

so 9:0 or 10:1? im sendin this beast off to golden eagle next week i talked to a few people and they said the precision sc61 would do fine for my 600 whp goal

9.5:1 or 9.7:1 would be just fine.., but closer to 10.0:1

..... 1 post 9:1 second says closer to 10:1 im thinkin 10:1 just for a little more compression even though boost likes lower b18c is 10:1 and they love boost lol
