vtec Valve cover fit a y5 head?

I have a civic HX and want to get a vtec valve cover I'm just not positive it will fit. Anyone know?

yes it will. 92-00 civic single cam 1.6L valve covers are interchangable.

Not all, the b7/b8 covers are not

^^true. i was referring more to a 1.6 vc since he said hx.

isint the y5 and vtec motor? just the fuel economical one?

Yes, the D16Y5 is equipped with what's commonly known as "VTEC-E"

??? He later edited his post to say 1.6L VC's, thats why it says modified. If you read his post in what I quoted before, he didn't state 1.6 liter.
