will a ls valve cover fit on a b16 or gsr head?

haha, I think he needs VC and is too cheap to buy one. You *could* do it, but it would be cheaper/better to buy one (Vtec VC)

It won't even come close to fitting. If you don't like the DOHC VTEC emblems just shave them off for a clean look.

might have to do that. what do u recommend me using to shave it off?

I used a belt sander on mine to get the surface smooth and had a shop powdercoat it with a Crinkle Black finish. I tock off the DOHC VTEC and the Honda "H" at the bottom. I have had a lot of people as me if it is and LS, especially since the block has "B18A" stamped on it. Though not good enought to fool a real honda guy.

Do you have any pictures of your bare valve cover? I've been thinking that it might look cool with a good paint job

yeah.. or start with a die grinder to get everything down quick. then use an air file to smooth it all out and make it all level.
