Default Good Local Dyno Near Philly

I live 20 min from Philly and I would like to know if anyone knows of a good dyno within a couple hours away of Philly. If you know any specific ones, please give me the name, pricing, and number if you have it. Thanks!

ERT in Wilmington, DE. http://www.europeanracing.com - They are primarily a BMW shop. $75 for a 1/2 hr. $130 for 1 hr. cheaper for 1/2 and full day sessions.

Thanks a lot man...Do you think if I have a N/A setup with I/H/E obd1 conversion and a chip in my p28, it would take less than 30 min to tune it? Thanks!

In a 1/2 hr you can do 4-5 runs. What are you tuning with? Cam gears? V-AFC? Keep in mind that they are a BMW shop they will be of little help in giving tuning advice. Also, they have a wideband O2 sensor for the dyno, but apparently they do not allow it to be used on customer cars during their race season. Someone posted here last week about how they told him that they could not use the wideband O2 on his car...

what does the wideband do? I am new to this...I have never tuned a car before...I was kinda hoping they would do it for me...but if not, I should take a friend of mine who knows what he is doing...So if I cant use the wideband, are you saying I am not going to be the best results? Thanks!

Yep, depending how long it takes them to strap down your car.

Yep, again. (Little advice.) I have to "convince" them I drove a "REAL" ITR.

It was me. And they dont let anyone use their wideband O2, period. In or out season.

Don't get me wrong, the guys are "friendly" to a point. Although, make sure they hook your car up right on the dyno... as the F-ed up my first 2 pulls by not setting the tire rating properly (dyno cut recording) and didn't get proper readings for torque, and still tried to charge me $75/half hour. Sucks they are right down the road from me... cuz IMO compared to what others pay on here, for the tuning they get, etc... ERT is overpriced. (Not to mention cant use the wideband.)

Hit me up when you goto the Dyno (if you goto ERT), I can give you a hand.

The DYNO is what helps you tune your cam gears (Ahem, sgT.) The wideband only tells you the fuel adjusting you making is actually doing something. Some people see gains from a wideband, but on a mild NA setup with stock fuel work, you won't see much.

Heh heh... Yeah, last time I was there, they set the trigger for the wrong amount of crank rotation for my car. So we do one run, and my Prelude pulls a 175hp and 284lb.ft on the dyno... And the ERT guy who was running the dyno was like "Wow! Those are some great torque numbers... I had no idea any Hondas had that kinda torque!". I said, "Ummm, as nice as that sounds, I don't think that's correct... It's about double what my torque should be..." So he figured out what ignition setting was wrong in the computer and I did a bunch more runs. I was probably on the dyno for at least an hour, and he only charged me for 1/2 hr....
