Default Painting my honda emblems flat black

I had a couple of extra Honda Emblems lying around front and rear for my prelude

so yesterday i picked up some duplicolor flat black paint,

I sanded them down and did a few coats of black, they are drying right now, the rear one is looking great, however the front on seems to not be working so good,

ill show you what i mean, i dont feel like taking pics atm so ill just use this picture and show you

You see how theres a center point there where the 2 sides meet up
the paint just isnt sticking there, i sanded thoroughly and thats the only part thats not working out. I think it might be some grease there, so i took some off with a towel and resanded it again and it still does it, the paint just slides off

any suggestions on why?

im thinking about just stripping it all on that and just resanding it

Yea man, i'm thinking you are going to need some primer or some sort of adhesion promoter. Other wise you will run into th same problem I had, it will just keep peeling off over time.
