I agree..its going on your car bro, not someone else's...so its all yours.

 

in a sense it's kind of cool. let's say it's late at night and it rained heavily. you don't know how much water there is turn on the lights for a second to see how high the water is, turn it off and you're good to go.

Edit: turns off and on when door opens and closes.
