New clutch ,new master cylinder, engauges right off the floor
I recently put in a new clutch, the engaugment seemed fine kind off the floor but not right off the floor. Well a few miles later 45 to be exaclt my clutch master cylinder whent out. I replaced it, bled the lines free of air (or DID I??)
and now I try to drive the car and the clutch now seems to engauge seriously like right off the floor...
Mabey im not used to it, but I made this post to see if you think #1 There is still air in the lines #2 The clutch pedal needs to be adjusted
Or mabey im just not used to a Good new master cylinder that works...

well you should have adjusted the master cylinder when you first put it.
but most likely you have air in the line.

Did you bench-bleed the master cylinder before installation? If not, it becomes much more difficult to get all the air out with the wrench-and-pump method.
I did not bench bleed the master cylinder, I don't need to take it back out, d I ? Or should I just keep trying to bleed it???
Ill just keep trying to bleed it guys, But I wasnt aware of the bench bleed u speak of....
inform me please for next time i do a master cylinder.
