Default Valvetrain for BC3+ cams

This is not the typical question about a valvespring combo for these cams. Just spoke with Buddy Club USA and said that OEM VT is sufficient enough but personally, he would upgrade them for extra insurance.
Since we all know the GSR intake springs can handle the 11.5mm lift of a CTR or 11.9mm of a S2S1 cam, wouldnt the stock intake springs be fine since the lift on the BC3+ cams are only 11.4mm? Not really a need to upgrade the intake side.
Technically, you would only have to upgrade the exhaust side to GSR or ITR intake springs at the least since lift on the BC3+ exhaust cam is 11.8mm. Is this correct? or am i missing the concept?

I was gonna order a set of ITR intake springs and swap the gsr intake side to the exhaust side. But since we're changing springs with the head still on the car, we would rather have to swap out only what we need to.

By the way, can i have confirmation that the specs on the buddy club 3+'s are:
Intake:11.4/296 at 1mm and Exhaust: 11.8/290 at 1mm.
Ive seen the specs range from people on this site. I got the said specs from their website.

well i think you kinda answered your own question in the first post " said that OEM VT is sufficient enough but personally, he would upgrade them for extra insurance." i would say do springs and retainers because your there and you never have to worry if you get a lil rpm happy

At the very least i would use ITR valve springs and have done so whenever I sell the BC3+ cams but if you have the funds use Rocket/Supertech or Omni springs and retainers for the cost of doing it it not even worth thinking about.

I ran those cams for a short while on a Type R & Portflow spring combo with Portflow retainers. And I tracked the car on that setup several times. That setup is actually for sale
