Default 225/40-16

Will 225/40-16 tires rub with stock suspension? Wheels will be 16x7.5 & 45 offset. Tirerack said they might work if I roll the fenders, but I figure they are pretty conservative. Thanks

That is the EXACT setup I have (offset, wheel width, tire size), and I have never had rubbing with the stock suspension. This is how it looks:

Thanks for the info! The pics look great. I am trying to decide between Kosei K1 Racing and OZ Superlegerra. Anybody have any opinions.

In the Pics it looks like Toyo T1-S. Funny theing is the the specs look the same as the 205/50/15 Falkens.

Tire - Tire Height - Width
Toyo 23.0 - 8.5
Falken - 23.1 - 8.3

I think they are fairly narrow for a 225. Most are over 9 inches wide.

Yeah, for the OZ's I would have to go 17x7. For tires I was planning on going Kumho 712's in 205/40 or 215/40. Has anybody heard anything bad about the Kumhos?

Stock height with the 215-40/16 Kumho 712's, 16X7 +43mm rims, no rubbing, love the tires after I got an alignment and played with the tire pressures
