z6 to y8 intake manifold swap

i have heard ( i dont remember where) that a small hp gain can be made by swaping a d16z6 intake manifold for a d16y8 manifold. is there any true to this?

i saw in a honda tuning mag they did this and gained some hp yes. i think the y8 is the best oem single cam mani and tb combo.
