Default mfactory 3.070 gear information

says on the website that cannot be used with 98+ jdm itr specs trannies, i've searched and even contacted mfactory with no reply, but just wanted to know if any1 had information regarding this...thank you

that is probably correct as JDM ITR tranny's have a different 1st gear than all the other tranny's!!

that sucks, maybe i can talk mfactory, see if the can do something custom for me without charging me an arm and a leg.

Yes, the JDM 98 Spec transmission (with 4.785 FD standard) uses a different fitment 1st gear.

In order to use our longer 1st gear in your JDM 98 Spec transmission, all you would need to do is change your Pinion to our USDM 4.785 pinion (we have them available seperately). The Ring Gear does not need to be changed as they are the same.
