Default a/v/s-First off topic-debate-jokes-kick back-lounge-installer shoot the shyt talk.

I figured since a bunch of other threads had them. We should too . Please keep installs questions to a minimum. If needed just start a thread. This is not going to be a tech thread. Tips are cool thou. Pictures too. So what ever you need to get off your chest.... shoot

I'll start... I have a new project that I need a switch for. Need a SPDT toggle On-Off-On, but momentary to the On sides.

Trying to replicate this:

http://www.tractorbynet.com/fo...r.jpg

Power window motor installed in place of the manual chute adjustment crank on my snowblower. Need the switch to move the chute left & right.

Anyways... If anyone is really interested in seeing what I'm doing, you can go here: http://www.tractorbynet.com/fo....html. Third post down, there's a picture called Chute Motor.jpg. Click it.

So I've gotta ask this of the other installers... When you're driving down the road, do you notice random things like shitty satellite radio installs? I saw one this morning where the antenna was off center, and the excess wire was just flapping in the wind... And of course I see the bright blue screen just stuck in the middle of the dash with wires hanging all over the place... I know it was probably a plug & play Sportster or whatever unit it was, but Jesus... Have some pride in how your vehicle looks...

lol of course we notice **** like that. Drives me nuts!

My favorite is when then they have more than one unit right below the rearview mirror. One bright blue sportster or the like and then one portable navigation. ESPECIALLY in vehicles that have room for a double din ha ha

So what did everyone ask Santa for this year???

I'm hoping all of the necessary gaskets, belts, o-rings and seals to rebuild my engine are under the tree. And on Friday, we get our bonus checks, so I can hopefully order my turbo.

Nyquil has never done that to me. I do know, however, that nyquil + 3-4 beers = great sleep aid
