Hey everyone I tried the search function many times and I can't seem to find the right wording. I'm looking for a thread where a guy did a how-to on removing rear seats and installing carpet in the hatch and where the seats go.I remember he did it in a car-wash stall at night and he said he spent like 8 or 9 bucks on supplies. Can someone point me in the right direction? thanks.

There was a thread under the Paint/body thread where someone tested out the duplicolor carpet/upholstery paint (its actually a dye in spray form) for his interior carpet in his EK.
There wasnt a whole writeup on how to remove it step by step, but it involves removing all the seats, and trim that runs along the doors by the floor. The center console must be unbolted as well. There are various clips all around the sides that keep it down. Once all that is out, it should just come out.

 

I saw that one...But the one im talking about a guy bought some wood and some carpet and did a rear seat delete.

Oohh, hmm, never saw that one yet. Wood, huh? Interior decor for a civic? Sounds like it requires a fair amount of time to devote to measruing and cutting.
