Default Stock JDM ITR(96 spec) in EG

I tried searching but, couldn't find anything specific. I will be swapping the mentioned motor into my 92 Si. My question is....As far as my p28 goes, what would be my best option for chipping? It will remain completely stock once installed(will be running OEM airbox). Only upgrade I will be doing is complete ITR exhaust.

I would find a used Hondadata ECU, because they're reprogrammable, or new, and run a P73 basemap. I don't know if that's right because I completely just pulled that out of my butt.

I would ask B18C5-EG, I should have told you that first.

get your ecu chipped with a itr map. for the engine, everything will work just find yourself a 96-01 integra engine harness. everything else should be all plug and play

You could do what is mentioned above, or go to http://www.phearable.net and get the ecu from them. It's like $175 shipped.

I would get a Hondata. Have it tuned or get a basemap. So after you get bored w/ type-R power and decide to go w/ more mods you will not be limited. Trust me you will want to go faster and faster and faster. Its never enough.

True. I'm not really looking to go super fast, honestly. I just want a stock, reliable motor to put in my car. I'm all about keeping my car super clean and OEM as possible. It won't be driven a whole lot anyway. More of a car to take to meets, and car shows. It will be plenty of power for my taste.

I'm getting the Motor, Tranny, ECU deal from HMO. Not much needs to be modded from what I heard. Buy some GSR axles? And figure out how my airbox needs to be setup. Other than that, i've heard it is completely plug and play. OBD1-OBD2 wire harness into the p73(will probably run it with S100 like everyone has been suggesting). If I am wrong, don't bust my *****. I am new to swaps.

Im using obd2 harness in my 92vx, also using obd2 distrib, and odb2 Altern. and obd2 style crank posisition sensor. Works fine w/ hondata s200.

I would just chip your ecu. I can chip a p28 for you and put a itr map on it for you.

uberdata is pretty old but anyone who chip would probably use crome to put a itr map on it
