did you put in a kill switch for your fuel pump? my car died when i put mines in because i was careless at the time and my wires must had shorted out somewhere. I'll be driving and the engine would just shut off driving in cold weather..

Well I dont know if your motor is stock or not. But after I got my car tuned and the bigger fuel injectors in if I didnt let my car warm up the first time I would put my clutch in to slow down or w/e my car would die. The guy the tuned it, who is also a good friend of mine, said that since the car is cold it will flood itself and choke off.

I let my car warm up for at least 4 mins maybe more depending on how cold it is and how long its been sitting. Try it. Its a pain in the *** but it worked.

Whats the CEL for? It all depends on when you drove it last too. Best bet just let it warm up and hopefully the problem will disappear.

I think mine may have done it, it just went so fast the one time it happened. I saw the battery light and then the oil light and I was thinking I just ruined my motor and turned it off asap.

You can check in the middle of the road I am sure no one would mind

im sure no one would mind...but being in the middle of the road on a busy *** street in sacramento is quite awkward

the CEL should be stored even though the light is off.

confirm things like good battery, good alt., good fuel pressure. if it were me, i'd want to know how the ignition timing is, and any wires going to sensors (like for breaks in the wire or loose connectors)

i know sometimes a bad main relay can act like this when it's real hot outside, maybe it can do the same when it's real cold too..
