Fuel Pressure Gauge
I'm looking to install a PERMANENT fuel pressure gauge, but I can't find any information on where it goes (i know, the dash, but where does it hook up to?)
I was thinking mechanical because they're like 1/5 the price, so does it hook up at a T-fitting just like a pressure checker would between the filter and the rail? and then go through the firewall with the master cylinder to the dash? sounds like a bit of trouble, but what do you guys think? Has anyone done this, or know a link for a DIY page?
Thanks everybody!

I had one in both my EJ1 and my EJ8.
I got it at a store called east coast speed.
It was a B&M fuel pressure gauge, like this one:
http://www.bmracing.com/index....id=72

You unscrew the banjo bolt that holds the fuel fitting into place on the filter. Then you put that 90º socket on it and screw that down into the filter - it replaces the OEM banjo bolt.
The gauge then screws into that. Just should use some fuel line thread sealer tape to wrap around the threads to make sure it doesn't leak.
I had to use the 90º one on my EJ8 ('97 EX), but on my EJ1 ('95 EX) I was able to use the straight one (both are pictured). The hood didn't seem to have clearance on the '97 EX.

not only that, but why would want to run fuel into the cabin? not a good decision.

Good point - I didn't know if there was some sort of electrical gauge like they have for oil temp, oil pressure, water temp tripple gauges in the dash. Know what I mean
BTW Philosofy1, LOVE THE SIG! (i was there when it happened to Bserious...LMAO)

yeah, they have a electrical one just like the others. kind of expensive, but you know how us car guys are, if we really want it we're going to pay for it.
i guess that's just how america is, right?

What alot of people do is run the gauge under the hood and run a wideband gauge in the cabin to see if it leans out.
Something you could do if your afraid your fuel pressure is dropping is get a pressure switch for 30PSI (you should never see under 40psi of fuel) and a warning light. Hook up the switch to the fuel somewhere and put the light where you would see it. Light turns on you turn off the car ASAP. Simple

Take this man's suggestion and save yourself some money and trouble.

what does that mean exactly? Run a gauge under the hood - got it. The regular mechanical one from the T-fiting I will install where the banjo nut is.
Wideband gauge in the cabin? help me out! (I usually don't feel this stupid, but I'm kinda new to the world of aftermarket gauges...
Thanks a bunch!
