Default chip

I was thinking about getting a new header, test pipe, and larger TB and sending my ecu out to be chipped on my y8 with intake and exhaust and i was wondering if its worth the time and money to have it chipped or if i should wait till summer to turbo it. if the chip is a good idea whats a good company to have it done by. I just wanna know if ill see reasonable gains cause i would be ditching the crap i cant use with turbo when that time comes
can a chip pass emissions?

you cant convert a ecu internally to a different obd. you must do it with a jumper harness

if you do pick up a p28, and get a chip for that, with a good tune you will see a small increase, but for what you have, it most likely wont be worth the money at this point for the tune. wont hurt to have it in your garage waiting for the turbo.
