gc+koni installing right now. Few questions
Hey guys im installing my konis/gcs with my stock top mounts. Im really lost as to which peice goes where and what I need.
Ive already disassembled my stock springs and have all the peices laid out.
Can anybody give steps as to which peices go where? (Right now im working on the front shocks.)
So far what ive got.
1) Dampening fork
2)Koni shock body
3)GC sleeve (Long or short one?)
4)Eibach Spring
5)Bumpstop (Do I push this all the way down the piston rod? Its a really tight fit)
6)Bumpstop plate washer
7) ??
8)??
.............
Top mount bushing
Top mount
Top Nut Washer
Top Nut
Various miscellaneous peices that I dont know if they are even necessary
-Dust Boot
-Dust cover washer
-Insulator
-Collar
-Insulator #2
Thanks guys!! Keep in mind this is with the stock top mounts, and this is for the front shocks. Oh and if you guys have advice step by step for the rears.... that would be great too!

This is the order with normal springs installed:

With GC's, the order is like this:
- Shock fork
- Brake line bracket
- Shock absorber
- GC sleeve (shorter ones in front, longer in back)
- white plastic split washer
- bump stop
- smaller-diameter washer (bumpstop plate)
- GC spring
- upper mount w/ GC upper spring insulator installed and rubber bushings w/ Koni-supplied metal insert
- concave washer with edges turned facing up
- 2 Koni jam nuts
After installed the GC's, these are the stock and Koni parts that are not used:
- OEM dust covers
- stock upper spring insulators
- Koni OEM-style spring perches and perch rings (normally installed between the snap ring and the spring perch)
