Default wiring problem

ok i was trying to install my jdm sidemarkers the other night and i attempted to splice the wires on the parking lights (hot and ground), then i twisted them together and taped them. just to make sure they worked, i turned my parking lights on and nothing came on...neither the sidemarkers or the parking lights. i only spliced wires on the left side, i havent touched the right side yet. so i checked the fuses inside the car but i dont have the diagram for the fuses. i pulled one fuse out and put it back in the wrong place. i fixed that, but now my parking lights still dont work and my cluster will not light up the way it should. did i just blow a fuse under the hood somewhere or could i have fried the wiring harness or what? anyone have any ideas?

nevermind...fixed my problem! blown fuse controls instrument cluster lights, parking lights, and tailights.
