I am building a 89 Prelude SI with the B20A5. I am looking for a turbo to give me a decent powerband, since these motors have a low redline of 7000rpm. I need a turbo that can give me 400-450whp.

I have done the calculations and looked at tons of compressor maps as well as read on almost every forum I could find, but it seems everyone gets slightly different results(understandable). I just want another opinion on what I should use.

I have been comparing mainly 3 different turbos since they are in my current price range. Trying to stay around $600. t3/t4e 50, 57, 60 trims with .63ar stage III

The problem is that it seems all of these turbos fall into decent efficiency until I plot points past 15psi. After that the 50trim is in the best efficiency up to around 25psi.....all the others are well off the right corner of the map. So that leads to my first question....does that mean that the 50trim will make more power with my setup as opposed to the others??

Second question is what kind of spool times would I be expecting with a .63ar stage III??

-Custom intake mani and ramhorn turbo mani
-Meth injection and FMIC
-Pump Gas with RC 800cc
-Chipped ECU

Any of those turbos will spool really fast since your only using a stage 3 wheel in it. Id use the 60 trim with the .63a/r.
