Do you need to have a boost gauge with a supercharger?

 

You dont "need" one...but its always nice to see how much boost your running..right?

 

OT, but can you install a boost gauge before the turbo is installed? from what i read you only tee off something connected to the intake mani. i know bov and wg and stuff also runs off the intake manifold but not directly to the boost gauge necessarily
