Any problems with doing this? Any pitfalls, etc? I've been looking at a couple GSR engines that were on boost to put in the Sol as N/A.

only think i could think of is that..if they we're turbo motors...chances are they took some abuse, so could have weak internals, could use a full set of gaskets or you can have no issues what so ever...really depends if the person selling the motor is going to be truthful and tell you that they took care of it and babied it, didn't take care of it but babied it, beat the hell out of it, etc etc.

Most times when someone is selling a motor that was previously boosted, the money is on the fact that it was beat on. Not to say that all are not in good shape, theres a few out there that probably werent beat on too badly.

Heh. Hope sucks.

I also searched and found the stuff I needed on what physically needs to be done as well. Not sure it's worth the risk.

I saw a teg advertised for a good price, but it had a turbo installed. Moot point, it sold quick.

I agree with the above. Price can sometimes speak for itself.
