Default will a ls throttle body fit my b16a ?

The reason I am asking is because my b16a (OBD0) has a messed up FITV, and I cant find one to replace it. So someone suggested changing the throttle body, and my friend has a ls one sitting around. Will it bolt right on?

why replace the whole throttle body if your FITV is bad, why not replace the FITV from the ls to the b16? alot less work.

Well, because it's an OBD0. I can't find one for it. So I've been told to upgrade the throttle body to an OBD1, which will be easier to replace FITV, if needed.

my buddy with a obd0 b16 put on a obd1 ls throttle body on his b16. I'm not exactly sure what he did but I know some wiring had to b done for his map sensor maybe because it was already messed up or something. But it can be done.

yeah it will bolt up.

i think the plugs are the same as well, and you can run the map sensor either on the firewall or on top of the throttle body

It will Fit but the ls throttle body is a little bit smaller. I just put a b16 throttle body on my b20 and it pulls a little harder so u might lose a little bit of power.
