If any one has done this I would like to know how hard it is and if i need a special seal pulling tool. My tranny is leaking from the seal thats why i need to replace it.

 

is this the seal where the axle goes in the tranny? if so and its the same as manual its not too hard just take off the axle and i used a screw drive to pry out the old seal and a big *** socket to hammer the new one in.

 

I haven't done this in a while do I have to pop the ball joint or can I just take the shock out and move it around to get the shaft out?

 

Yep, pop the ball joint.

 

but i dont want to cuz im lazy.lol and its cold out so the less the better since my garage isnt heated.

 

you have to seperate the lower ball joint. its not even that hard and im lazy too so you must be super lazy.

 

yes i am super lazy and in Wisconsin its kinda cold so that makes me even more lazy and there is this thing call xbox and a game call halo that I would like to do instead of the stupid seal. But i got this civic for $300 which is like holy **** good deal other then the intake was ghetto which i fixed and this leak.
