Default Changing Water Pump

I am going to change my water pump because it is leaking. I do not plan to change the timing belt because it only has less than 30k miles on it. My question: Do I have to remove the engine mount if I only change the water pump without changing the timing belt? It seems that I have to remove the engine mount to remove the lower cover. Am I wrong?

I have printed out TouringAccord's write up. It is a very good step-by-step "Service Manual"

Thanks a lot.

Sorry, forget the car information. It is a 1994 accord.

yes, I believe you would still need to remove the mount. IIRC, part of the mount covers part of the water pump and it may be enough to not allow the water pump to be removed without first removing the mount.

fyi, any time you change the timing belt, go ahead and do the water pump as well since the engine is open to maintenance. and vice versa. it will save money and time in the long run.
