What kind of matifold can I use to upgrade the original greddy matifold (something that flow better and has external wastegate), and I also want to know what kind of flange do I have to get to make a downpipe. This is for 18g b series kit.

 

With an 18g, you can save alot of money by just taking a torch, and cleaning out the inside of the exhaust manifold so there is more room for all the exhaust to get to the turbo. Also, you could just weld an external wastegate to the 18g manifold and that will work fine. Just blow a hole through the manifold and weld the wastegate there, while also welding the internal wastegate closed. I'm sure there is a thread about this somewhere.

 

i was just about to weld a external wg to my greddy manifold but you cant place the wg in a good spot to allow enough gas to escape because of the shitty cast greddy made so i just bought a blox turbo manifold with the external wg on the cast and i am welding the wg shut on the turbo and for the downpipe go to atpturbo.com and buy the gt25 gt28 v-band adapter and it works perfectly but you have to weld the wg shut to use that adapter flange or it will hit

 

yea thanks for the adapter. I already ported the matifold, but I want to get a different matifold (can I just bolt on a regular matifold like SLS shorty or something) I really don't like how shitty greddy one looks. I think a better matifold would help that setup alot. What's the flange on the exhaust housing t3?

nope...greddy 18g turbo flange is t25 and you have to get an adapter to bolt it to a t3 manifold which i am in the process of doing right now

 

where can I get the adapter? You got a link by any chance?
