Default rod tang issues?

Ok guys, so ive searched on this, A LOT...

My setup is a b18c1 block, with a b18b crank, cp pistons, and tuner toys b18b rods...

The problem is, that when i tried to use the ls rod bearings in the b18b tuner toys rods, the tangs were on the wrong side for the ls bearing??? ive went back and had them order another set thinking they just sent the wrong bearings, but no...

The ls bearings i ordered are the proper width for an ls rod, but the tangs just are on the wrong sides! lol, Am i going crazy or is this so that i can use gsr bearings???

Also, is it going to hurt it that the bearing isnt centered??? when u install it their is more area without bearing covering it on oneside than the other... that worrys me!

So honestly, is it going to hurt anyhting to run it like this? I went ahead and used my own judgement and assembled the motor using the gsr bearings... and it rotates smoothly! But its still on the stand waiting to go in..

i was under the impression gsr bearings would physically NOT work in ls rods without retanging them on teh opposite side?

wow im ranting now, thanks for the help!

Someone just had a thread in which they thought everything was GSR parts, but it was in fact LS rods they had. The bearings are the same diameter, but the LS rods are a few mm's wider. The tang is the same distance from the side on both, meaning GSR bearings in an LS rod will be very offset.
