i have a 99 honda civic ex and when i drive it sometimes i hear a squeeking noise coming from the right hand side over by the battery. I thought it was a loose belt but i checked the belts but they are on the other side of the engine. I'm confused on what it is and if it's something to worry about. What should i do?

 

does it seem to dissappear when you push in the clutch? sounds like a throw out bearing to me.

 

might be the pcv valve.

to check, when the motor is making the noise, loosen the oil cap to relieve the pressure in the crank case. if the noise stops, the pcv valve is prolly bad.

 

maybe taking the car to a expirience mechanic would help...
