Default Why is this part no longer available???

I thought I'd get myself an OEM S2K honda oil filter wrench (for PXC filters) but I was told at one dealer that this part is no longer available.
Is this for real?

Just go to Pep Boys or Advance Auto and pick one up for like 5 bucks. Buy a filter from Honda and take it in with you to make sure you get the proper one. It's basically a cone thing, that you stick onto the filter and then the wrench and you're set.

I bought one at autozone, it was only a few dollars. I was getting sick of burning myself.

Thanks for the offer B16B_coupe. I called another dealer and they have it.

Sorry for the false alarm.

They dont sell it anymore!! Tired last year to get one and no luck they said its usally 5 years on items that dont sell and then they pull them. So the only way to find one would be calling each dealer in the country.

So have mine....well unless some idiot tightened the oil filter too much on other cars I have done.
When I first got my S and did my first oil change the filter was on so tight that even my strap wrench wouldn't budge it. I had to stab a big *** screw driver through the filter.....it made a ****** mess!!!! haha
