Oil on Front Rims

I was just wondering if this is normal.
I was washing my car today and I noticed that my front blades had an incredible amount of oil all over them making them look very filthy. The back ones were like spotless compared to the front ones. So I wiped off most of the oil around the rim, but the inner-part of it still had much oil remaining.
So is that normal...or is there like a leak or something around that area?
Thanks for the help guys!

if it were your cv boots yeah that could really mess with you, the lubercant would be leaking out of the boot than your joint will get stiff and start making a clunking and then soon enough it will start messing with your ability to keep the car straight, i rode on my torn boot for i would say a month till i was on the free way and it jerked me 3 lanes over right next to a semi scared the **** out of me could have died if i didnt have my hands on the wheel the whole time i figured yeah today would be a good day to change that...

Wow...geez that sounds hella crazy. Is there anyway I can know for sure what it is? It looks as if it's not a major oil leakage, nor is a quick build-up.
Could it be anything else though, I ask again.

Wait...I think that brake dust sounds very possible. This actually came off quite easy if I just wiped it with a little rag. Now that I think about, wouldn't oil really be hard to come off?
If so then I believe it's the brake dust then, even so...is that bad?
Haha, sorry for the noob questions =[

Brake dust build-up on your wheels is inevitable, and is not an indication of any problem or issue. It's also perfectly normal for the fronts to dust more than the rears, since they're larger and perform a greater percentage of the braking. Even "dustless" pads generate dust, it's just lighter.

Yeah I suppose it was kind of wet...well I was spraying water at the same time...so I'm not sure. But now I'm pretty sure it's not oil so yeah...thanks you guys.
The film was very easy to wipe off, like I would just wipe once and there would be a big section that came off.
About my brake pads, I got the stock nisan ones but I have brembo rotors though. So I guess I should get new ones?
What is recommended? =]

oh ok well they should just be the same as any other rotor, i dont know the specific names for the breaks but i go to the auto store ask them for there cheapest one and then ask them for the mid range price one and i buy it i use to buy the cheap ones but i dont anymore becuase i would get to much break dust and they would only last 4-6 months
